On September 4th, 2023, music enthusiasts and nature lovers alike gathered for a night they would never forget. The evening featured a breath taking performance by Jeremiah Fraites, co-founder of The Lumineers, and the heartening melodies of modern-day troubadour Gregory Alan Isakov at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater.
The evening began with the talented Jeremiah Fraites taking the stage with the most talented ensemble. Accompanied by violinist Lauren Jacobson, bassist Byron Issacs, drummer Derek Brown, and cellist Psyche Cassandra Dunkhase, Fraites executed an ethereal performance of his solo debut album Piano Piano. This was his 9th solo performance, first in the U.S.
As an added bonus, the group covered favorites including Nirvana's "Heart-Shaped Box" and The Lumineers "Ophelia" that brought the crowd to their feet.
Jeremiah brought the performance to a close by directing the strings, followed by a sincere expression of gratitude and a graceful bow from the ensemble, setting the stage for Gregory Alan Isakov.
Colorado resident Gregory Alan Isakov takes the stage bringing his signature brand of introspective folk music to the audience. Accompanied by Jeb Bows, Steve Varney, Max Barcelow, John Paul Grigsby, and Danny Black, Isakov had the audience captivated with his story telling lyrics.
